Our patients often acknowledge the convenience
of our present location, and we feel that our office
is ideally located to address your child's needs. With
a pharmacy and small drug store in the building, you
won't have to make an extra stop when your child is
ill and a prescription needs to be filled. Radiology
and laboratory services are also only a few steps away.
Outstanding area specialists within our building or
across the street, including orthopedic surgeons, ear,
nose and throat specialists, a pediatric surgeon, a
plastic surgeon, and pediatric cardiologists are available
to us for emergency and routine services.
Additionally, our building is connected by an indoor
walkway to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital which offers
us a separate pediatric Emergency Room as well as a
dedicated pediatric ward and pediatric intensive care
unit. Having these services nearby is invaluable during
those times when we feel your child requires the use
of an Emergency Room or other hospital services.
We do not have separate waiting rooms: this is not an effective method for infection control. Since most infection is spread by contact with common
objects, we offer antibacterial wipes for you and your
child when you visit our office. In the reception area,
you will see individual bags of cleaned toys for your
child to play with during your visit. These have been
disinfected since the last patient. After you are done
with your bag of toys, please hand them to the receptionist
rather than replacing them on the hooks. We also encourage
you to wipe your child's hands with the disinfectant
wipes that sit by our sign-in sheet. These measures
have been proven to be the most effective way to decrease
your risk of acquiring an illness when visiting our
office.
